I've just finished running a SFX workshop in Newham,  as part of the Summer Academy scheme. The students made some amazing, imaginative work as always; severed fingers; monster gloves and flourescent vomit to name just a few..

Gonzo Moose Ear

I have just finished making a giant ear for Gonzo Moose Theatre. I sculpted it in wet clay, made a plaster mould and then cast it in cold cure latex. I'd never used this before and it was great. Then i airbrushed the ear with an oil paint/fixogum mix, also using my brush to flick on paint so it wouldn't look too 'painted'.

Boisei Baby (or Jeffrey as he is commonly known) was part of The Studio Event at The Studio Dance Centre, Kings Cross. The night was a performance extravaganza by The People Pile with invited guests.
mmm intestines..

some trophy severed fingers..

Just ran a Sfx week workshop with some young people in Hammersmith and Fulham. Above are some of the brilliant effects they created.
I have also recently finished working on a film by brothers Naeem and Ash Mahmood of Transient Film Exchange.  A gangster feature set in London; I found myself on location at Hammersmith and Fulham Morgue surrounded by real dead bodies.. spooky. Here's the charred and crispy arm I created.
I was recently nominated for an award! FISH! was nominated for a sfx make up award by The Maverick Movie Awards.. I will put a copy of the film on here as soon as it as finished attending festivals..
